WUSF PROGRAMMING

Modern Notebook

Each week, Tyler Kline journeys into new territory and demystifies the music of living composers on Modern Notebook. Listen for a wide variety of exciting music that engages and inspires, along with the stories behind each piece and the latest releases from today’s contemporary classical artists. Discover what’s in store on Modern Notebook.

Modern Notebook features mission-driven programming focused on sharing great music by living composers, especially composers from historically underrepresented backgrounds. There are two important considerations when curating the show: composer uniqueness (sharing music by as many different composers as possible) and composer diversity.

Creating representative programming is integral to Modern Notebook's mission, and efforts are made at every level to offer an equitable platform to artists of all kinds.

Add Modern Notebook to your Classical Lineup! Visit The PRX Exchange for additional information.

Arts Axis Florida

WUSF Public Media plays a vital role in providing our community access to the arts. To amplify our reach, we have created a digital-first initiative called Arts Axis Florida. AAF provides live Jazz streaming services from other Public Media stations around the state as well as multiple podcast offerings for our community.
